Het gaat dan eindelijk gebeuren

Gelukkig is het eindelijk gelukt. We gaan starten met ons huis. 

Het blijft een spannende tijd om te bouwen. Aannemers gaan failliet, importeurs gaan failliet. Iedereen maakt een doorstart maar hoe staan de financiën ervoor? 

In deze onzekere tijd is het toch de bedoeling dat er een huis aan de Stopperknoop 10 wordt gebouwd dat in de komende lente wordt opgeleverd.

Our plot on the map

This is our plot (red square 030) on the map.
At the front side there is a green field in front of the street. Before that there is a nature part for birds and then there is the dike. After that (about 200 meters from our house) is the big lake called ' Markermeer'.

The grey plots are also houses with 2 floors planned at the backside of our house. Luckily we have a free plot behind us.

The Mortgage...Brrrr

Today, the 4th of october, we signed the contract of the mortgage and at the same time the whole plot and all the grass and sand on the ground and in the ground of that plot is officially ours.

And we will have to start to pay some interest to the bank for that....aouch!!!

The nice part about our plot is that it is one of few or the only one in our street that has no building rising behind our backyard. So we keep the feeling that we have a spacious plot. The reason must be the biking path situated next to our house which is kind of angling away to the east. That gives us the spacious look-out to the south...

Yes!!!!

Today we finally received an answer on our question to change the parkingplace as decided by the local government.

The answer is Yes, we can change our parkingplace!!!

This gives us the possibility to have a garden surrounding our house and finally ending in the parking place in front of our house.
Of course I like it as well because it means that Iker and Gaizka have more space to run, bike and play ball around our house.

The First part of our building permit has gone through in good order.

This week they are going to do ground analyses. The ground in the Netherlands is very low, so you really have to organize your foundation.

















Now we have to hurry to get our last part of the building past the committie.
